Atyrau region is one of the most dynamically developing regions of Kazakhstan (the main areas of development are the petrochemical industry, oil and gas engineering, construction industry, agro-industrial complex and fishing industry), and successfully cooperates with more than 50 countries of the world. The Atyrau region annually hosts the oil and gas exhibition "Global Oil&Gas Atyrau", which is attended by more than 150 countries of the world.
Industrial production in January-October 2020 amounted to 4190222 million tenge in current prices, which is 3.6% lower than in January-October 2019.
In the mining industry and quarrying, production decreased by 4.1%; in water supply; collection, processing and disposal of waste, activities to eliminate pollution - 28.6%.
In the manufacturing industry, production increased by 0.1%, the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning by 1.9%.
The volume of gross output of products (services) of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in January-October 2020 It amounted to 73,314.3 million tenge, which is 1% more than in January-October 2019.
